Most of Linux Distro will let you to configure your network setting through Gnome / KDE GUI while some distro still using CLI but both method should be working except for SLES 10 which sometime network configuration through CLI having conflict with YaST.
I always use the below command to configure my network in Slackware either using static or dhcp & sometime you can put it into script and name it as "homenet" or "officenet"
STATIC
Lets begin to configure your ip address using 192.168.1.115, gateway 192.168.1.2 and name server using streamyx 202.188.1.5:
$ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.115 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
$route add default gateway 192.168.1.2
$echo "nameserver 202.188.1.5" > /etc/resolv.conf
DHCP
Nothing much to tell about network configuration via DHCP, instead all linux distro now by default will call this command :
$dhcpcd -d -t 10 ethX

after eating a meal. Zithromax tablets or powder oral suspension may be taken with or without food.
Take the tablet or oral suspension with food if the medicine upsets your stomach.
