I've never been so excited playing game on linux before until I went through some online tutorial about wine and slackware. So, this will become my primary objective and to have starcraft, red-alert & counter strike running from my slackware. But before that I need to do few things :-

Install Wine
Install ATI Propierity Driver
Install Games

Installing Wine doesn't give you much headache actually but since I never use Wine for quite long, I even forgot that Wine can't be run as a root :) . So, after create normal user using CLi, login as normal user, I fire-up the KDE and from terminal I just run $wine notepad. As expected, Wine work without problem.

 

 

 

 

After back from Hari Raya holiday, few projects already confirmed & will be started by end of this month. Unfortunately, the 44x server P2V has been cancelled at the last minutes. Luckily enough we got another tough project need to be done within two (2) months :- 

 

Bank - VMware ESX & P2V 41x servers - HQ & DR

DC - 32x Linux Server - web server, proxy, firewall, vpn, postfix, hotspot, dns & dhcp, database & etc. (3x DC)

First, I can say this is the largest P2V project I'm getting involve. Second, it's good for my resume of-course! . The project going to start exactly after Hari Raya and we will do an assessment on our customer data center first and getting all performance report & information for each physical server before we going to do the P2V.

Too bad the project has been canceled due to polytical issue involved. But hey! I got another two new project coming soon.
