After a month preparation, meeting, collecting information and documentation, today my team will do the first VMware ESX installation on six (6) Blade server (HP c7000). We start with the technical infrastructure first before we are going to do the P2V for total 24x windows server + 1x Linux. This could be a tough project since lot of services runiing on top of this 25 servers such as file server, IIS, active directory domain controller, squid proxy, journal and we could face some problem with it after P2V process (Which project doesn't have problem right?). Good planning and aware of what's going to be happen next will be my stratergies for this project :)
